We liked this hip new hotel. The rooms were brand-new, tidy and with comfortable bed. Location: the property was next to San Jose Central Market, the bus station and the central bus terminal. It was also close to a bustling market...

Stayed here for 4 nights and appreciated my choice. Economy double room I stayed at was neat with nice private bathroom. Knowledgeable staff, provided useful info. This was a great and perfect location close enough to bus stations and attractions, capital and la Fortuna❤😃

our experience was really comfortable from the moment we checked in, would stay here again. the room we got was a nice size and en suite with nice private bathroom, comfortable bed, for example. all the staff were very friendly and knowledgeable.

A huge variety of goodies for breakfast. Big bed in the economy double room, plus a work desk and a TV with satellite channels.

Nice hotel located near to San Jose Central Market, supermarkets and stores. What a good and perfect location close to bus stations! Plus, a minute walk from a landmark church.

Not welcoming at all staff!

We only stayed here for 1 night, as we didn't have time, even so everything was perfect. The room was neat and en suite with nice private bathroom, the bed was big. The location was marvellous and ideal, very close to bus stations, the stream, and San Jose Central Market, supermarkets and stores and easily accessible. Also, the place was at a medium distance from a touristy open-air market.

As a solo traveler, I loved the convenience of the hotel's location near the bus stations and city center. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the room was clean with a private bathroom. The laundry service was also a great bonus. a good value for the price.

The hotel had a good location, close to the city center and supermarkets. The manager provided two keys for easy access to both the main entrance and the bedroom. I felt safe walking around the area and the building seemed secure.

the staff was unavailable at the reception, making it difficult to get any assistance. the soundproofing in the rooms was poor, resulting in constant disturbances from noise in the hallway and other rooms.

The staff at the hotel was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay. They went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed and provided excellent customer service. the room was very clean and well-maintained, with fresh towels and soap provided. The location of the hotel was also a big plus, as it was conveniently located in or very near the city center and close to the bus station for easy access to the airport.

the check-in process was inefficient and inconvenient, with a long wait and lack of communication from the reception staff. there were issues with the water supply in the rooms, which were not communicated in advance and no solutions or alternatives were provided.

This place is situated in a very central spot, close to la Fortuna, Uvita, San Jose Central Market, and the airport.

I was really impressed with the value for money at La Castella. The room was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the main shopping center and all the city attractions. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

Breakfast choices could be improved, maybe add some more variety.

Convenient location near bus stations and airport bus. Private rooms with bathroom inside. Plenty of nearby dining options and a small supermarket. Hot water showers and ability to connect Netflix or YouTube to the TV. Good value for the price, better than a hostel

Felt truly spoiled, no complaints

The staff at the hotel were amazing and went above and beyond to help me when my phone was stolen outside. They were kind and supportive during a difficult situation. The rooms were comfortable and spacious, with cool air conditioning and a hot shower. I also appreciated the amenities such as Netflix and TV in the room.

One major downside was the lack of soundproofing in the rooms. The thin curtains allowed a lot of light to enter the room at night from the hallway, which made it difficult to sleep.

Great location near bus terminals and airport. Close to central market and local attractions. Comfortable room with outside window. Good shower. Value for money.
